It feels like we’re racing toward Christmas. Royal Mail’s last postal day for Christmas deliveries is Monday 18th December (yes that’s just a week away!).
So our last call for orders in time for Christmas is the end of play on Sunday 17th December. We’ll be in the roastery early on Monday 18th to get all the weekend orders packed, shipped and away in the 2pm post. The roastery will be open until Friday 22nd and we’ll be roasting and shipping, but we can’t guarantee your coffee will get to you in time for the big day.
Still got some gifts to buy? Here are our top tips for those last-minute coffee presents.
Get it shipped with a gift message
Get the coffee sent directly to the lucky recipient with a gift message from you. This avoids double shipping as we do the shipping for you! All you need to do is select the shipping address and you can add a personal gift message that we will include with the parcel. We can even pop a ‘do not open until Christmas Day’ sticker on the parcel. You can do this with any of our products, from one bag of coffee to a gift bundle box.
Give a Gift Subscription
Again this can be sent directly to the recipient so it will save on postage time. Coffee Subscriptions make a great gift. Every month as a lovely bag of freshly roasted coffee lands on their doorstep, the lucky recipient will be reminded of you!
We’ve set it up to make it super easy by providing pre-paid subscriptions where you can pay up front for 6 & 12 month subscriptions. You can choose an Argyll’s Secret Roast or Clyde Steamer gift subscription or a Coffee Adventure gift subscription - where we send a different single origin coffee every month along with tasting & farm notes. This is only available as 12 months to follow the annual coffee crop calendar.
Just add a gift note & shipping address at checkout and we’ll send it straight there. We can also add a ‘Do not open until Christmas’ sticker for the first delivery.
Bundle it up!
Make a big impression with one of our festive bundles. We’ve hand picked the best coffee gifts and bundled them together in a lovely gift box - so you don’t need to worry about anything! From the Big Adventure to the Eco Warrior, we reckon there’s a bundle for every coffee lover in your life.
Come & see us
Our Coffee Bar at Hayshed Gallery is open Saturdays & Sundays throughout December and we are stocked up on freshly roasted coffee and coffee kit. And our final roastery open this year is on Friday 22nd December from 1pm to 3pm. We’ll have some festive treats and offers, so come along, see behind the scenes and grab those last minute gifts.
Head to the shops
There are lots of lovely local shops and delis that stock retail bags of our coffee, including Kintyre Larder in Campbeltown, Ardfern Stores in Ardfern, Argyll Vintners and The Blairmore in Dunoon, Luss General Stores in Luss, Geraldinos in Helensburgh, Kames Village Store in Kames and The Foodies Shop in Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow.
Gift Cards
And last but not least - if you’ve left it very late, our Gift Card is a great option. Starting from just £10 you can either print it out and pop it in a card or even email the Gift Card over.
