Our seasonal roast from the west coast! Inspired by our location on Argyll’s Secret Coast, this seasonal roast follows the coffee calendar from northern to southern hemisphere, delivering a carefully crafted blend of single origin beans. This blend is designed for filter or cafetiere treatment. If you’re looking for beans for an espresso machine or stove top, try ‘The Steamer’ espresso blend which has a slightly darker roast profile.

Brazilian Fazenda Progresso (70%)

This fabulous coffee has lovely hazelnut and milk chocolate flavours, and is sweet and creamy with a bright acidity. Fazenda Progresso is a relatively young coffee farm that lies at around 1,150 metres in the mountainous Chapada Diamantina region of Bahia, northern Brazil. This particular lot from Progresso is a pulped natural process coffee - the ripe cherries are pulped and then dried in the sun on concrete patios for 24 hours with the sticky mucilage still attached.

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Adado (30%)

This coffee delivers a distinctively fruity flavour and a bright floral aroma with citrusy notes. The coffee is processed using the washed (wet) method. Wet processing results in higher acidity, which provides the super clean, crisp cup. This coffee was grown by smallholder farmers living around the town of Adado in Gedeo County in the Yirgacheffe region. The Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia is famous for its distinctive coffee. Grown close to the home of the first coffee bean, the coffee has a fabulously unique flavour profile. The high elevation produces a hard bean, resulting in exquisite flavours and aromatics.

Available in whole beans or ground to order.
